Formerly Plastics Solutions, Inc., Miami-Based Company Expands with New Products, New Personnel, and New Geographical Coverage; Will Exhibit at Amerimold 2021
Miami, FL (September 15, 2021) . . . Globeius, Inc. is a new company that has been formed to provide machinery, equipment and technical support to the North and South American plastics industry. The company will be exhibiting for the first time at the upcoming Amerimold 2021 show in Rosemont, IL, being held September 21-23 at the Donald Stephens Convention Center (Booth 328).
Headquartered in Miami, Globeius is the new name of the well-known manufacturer’s representative organization Plastics Solutions, Inc., a company that has served the Latin American plastics industry for almost 40 years. The company has recently expanded with new products and new personnel and has rebranded to reflect its new identity. It has also expanded its geographical coverage to include all of North and South America and has added products for both the agricultural and other industrial markets.
“While we have served Latin America for 40 years, we were not actively doing business in the USA until just a couple years ago,” said Ernesto Sosa, President of Globeius. “It may not have seemed like the best time to expand and launch a new company during a global pandemic, but for us the timing was good,” he said.
“We had been asked by several of our clients if we would consider distributing and servicing their products in the USA and Canada. We also were able to secure representation for several new lines of products.”
New Personnel
An important part of the launch of Globeius was the hiring of Graeme Sands as General Manager. Based near Toronto, Sands has almost 30 years of experience in the plastics industry working with hot runner systems and temperature control products, most recently as the Global Director of Product Management for Milacron/MoldMasters.
“Graeme brings tremendous knowledge and experience in the plastics industry to our company, and his location near Toronto is also an advantage for us,” said Sosa. “When he joined us, it became a logical decision for us to grow our business into the USA and Canada.”
New Products
Globeius sells and services a wide variety of machinery and equipment for the plastics industry and has added no fewer than 11 new product lines over the past two years.
